  • Conduct studies, reports and discussion groups on the issues that drive the cultural periodical community.

the promotion of members

sodep.qc.ca, the only platform dedicated to the discoverability and marketing of cultural magazines. For members, it is an essential space for data management.

Organize promotional activities in collaboration with a variety of partners in the cultural community.

Provide members with the expertise of a shared community manager who specializes in the online presence of cultural magazines.

Participate in various shows, conventions and trade fairs in Quebec, Canada and internationally.

Index SODEP Diffusion members' magazines in the Memento and leslibraires.ca databases.

Market digital versions of member magazines on Érudit, l'Entrepôt du livre numérique, SAMUEL and BibliMags.

  • Consulting services for questions and issues related to the magazine publishing environment, such as grant programs, postage, business data, etc.
  • A rich program of training and development activities available to the entire team of member magazines

SODEP Diffusion is the first distribution network adapted to the needs and commercial realities of cultural magazines.

Supported by the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and the Department of Canadian Heritage, in partnership with Diffusion Dimedia, this unique organization develops promotional strategies and targeted actions to make the wealth of cultural periodicals known and accessible to everyone, everywhere.

 

SODEP Diffusion offers network members:

  • Personalized training on the specific business realities of the cultural periodicals sector offered by the SODEP Diffusion sales manager;
  • Access to a true national distribution network;
  • Dedicated and efficient distribution work based on the specific needs of each magazine;
